Kirsten Lee Barger (they/them) is a dedicated advocate for both environmental and nonhuman animal rights causes.
They have a BA in writing and literature from Goddard College and a MA in history (public history, museums, and historic sites) from Western Carolina University. They are also working towards a master’s in professional science in wildlife conservation and advocacy from Unity Environmental University.
They have published a number of articles, essays, poetry, and short stories under both their pen name (Willow Croft) and under their legal name, Kirsten Lee Barger.
They are also a regular contributor to the speculative fiction site The Horror Tree.
